so what really is codependency?

Ultimately, it’s a series of learned behaviors we’ve adopted for safety. However, these codependent traits can morph into an addiction. Like any addiction, healing requires effort. Before we proceed, please revisit this idea: codependency is a pattern of learned behaviors.
Remember, this isn’t your fault! You’re not broken! Most importantly, you’re not alone. What you’re facing is a loss of self-worth, feeling unworthy, unlovable, or insufficient, constantly seeking external validation.
I’ve walked that path myself, lived through it. Since childhood, I’ve carried feelings of inadequacy because my father never praised me. Despite being good enough as a child, my brain wired a negative belief: ‘I AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH.’ This led to somatic memory. When faced with situations reinforcing that belief, my body reacted to the trauma.

And now, I’m here to guide you towards a different path. To empower you to acknowledge that you were victimized by a narcissist, who acted as the abuser, causing you trauma.
Trauma isn’t just about what happens to us, but also the narratives we create within ourselves and the emotions we store in our bodies. For me, anything triggering my negative beliefs would bring back painful memories, leading me to practice codependency as a coping mechanism for safety.
My coping strategy turned me into a people-pleasing, high-achieving perfectionist, attracting toxic relationships and eventually marrying a narcissist. Codependents and narcissists often intertwine. But you can break this cycle.
I did it, and now it’s your turn. It’s time to reclaim your true self and live the life you were meant for.

I designed this program to assist individuals like us in comprehending codependency, understanding why we might be codependent, and learning how to transform it. Through this, we can cultivate a healthy self-concept and embark on the fulfilling life we were meant to live.

This path has led me to become a Trauma Therapist & Coach. I also host Freedom From The Narcissistic Trap Podcast, where I provide my community with practical tools and techniques to aid their recovery. Additionally, my collaboration with immigration lawyers to provide psychological evaluations has been instrumental in assisting thousands of men and women who are trapped in abusive relationships. Through the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), we have been able to help pave the way for their new beginnings, offering them a path to safety and legal support.
What sets my narcissistic trauma recovery program apart is the integration of both my personal experiences and my educational expertise into my approach.
Leveraging my personal journey and professional background, I have developed a distinctive methodology that blends cognitive (mind) and mindful (body) therapies. This approach effectively addresses the trauma of narcissistic abuse, aiming for lasting healing.
